From artist booker to commercial strategist.
As an artist booker in the music industry I learned to sell in the most direct way there is: chase down leads, hear no and keep going. That is where I developed a feel for what wins people over and what puts them off.
After music I put that feel to work for founders and businesses. At first mainly on sales: joining calls, picking conversations apart, coaching teams on closing. But I noticed quickly that the cause of disappointing sales is often not in the conversation. It sits in an offer that is not sharp enough, positioning that is too vague, or a funnel that leaks somewhere halfway.
By now I have built the commercial side alongside more than fifty founders. Freelancers looking for their first clients. Agencies that grew from three to thirty people. Founders who could not get their story straight. And occasionally a multinational like Heineken or Adidas, where the dynamics are completely different again. Every founder is different, but the thread running through it is always the same: there is more in the business than is coming out of it, and usually they know it themselves.
That is where I like to step in. The moment a founder feels it can be better but cannot see exactly where. Then I get in, look honestly and work with you until the commercial side adds up, building alongside you until it holds.
The way I work.
Honest
I say what I see, even when it's not what you want to hear. No nodding along, no vague compliments. You get more out of someone who tells you honestly where it's going wrong than out of someone who agrees with you. I'm that honest sounding board.
Speed
I believe in moving fast. Not rushing, but not planning forever either. We find where the gain is, act on it and measure whether it works. Without losing the nuance, but always at pace.
Together
I stand next to you, not across from you. I don't advise from the sideline, I work alongside you. On your offer, your funnel, your conversations. I'm only satisfied once it shows up in your numbers.
"You don't have to become a different person. You only have to do two or three things differently."
What clients say.
What I value most about working with him is how easy it is to have open conversations. Jeffrey has a pleasant way of working: he puts you at ease and lets you be completely yourself, while still bringing a sharp and honest point of view.
The sessions with Jeffrey helped me find the direction I had been looking for for a long time. In our conversations I got valuable insights that helped me get past obstacles I had been running into for years.
Very experienced and very helpful. Jeffrey comes highly recommended.
